MEDIA

EBU

The European Broadcast Union (EBU) is the world’s leading alliance of public service media with 73 members in 56 countries across Europe and beyond.

The EBU believes that public service media is a cornerstone of democratic society, and look to act as its authoritative voice. The EBU provide first class media services and a centre of learning and knowledge sharing. They operate EUROVISION, the media industry’s premier distributor and producer of quality content and EURORADIO, the world’s largest news and music exchange.

The EBU's Sports Rights unit works with more than 25 federations on a continually renewable portfolio that includes around 120 events and more than 500 days of competition. As the centralised rights portfolio holder, they spare the EBU's Member broadcasters the labour-intensive legal work, and simplify access to must-have rights, saving media organisation's time and money. The EBU also offer sports federations and associations the widest possible reach and coverage through their extensive broadcasting community.
